Our Story, Our Mission, Our Players
Meet the people and philosophy behind South Bay's premier indoor turf soccer facility, serving Santa Clara, San Jose, Sunnyvale, Campbell, Cupertino, and Milpitas.
“Building Players. Building People.”
From One Field to South Bay's Soccer Home
Soccer Sphere started with a single indoor turf field and a founding team who believed youth soccer deserved a dedicated, year-round home. Nearly a decade later, that same mission drives every class, membership, and pick-up game we run for families across Santa Clara, San Jose, Sunnyvale, Campbell, Cupertino, and Milpitas.
A Small Turf, A Big Idea
Soccer Sphere opened its doors on Mead Ave in Santa Clara with a single indoor turf field and a simple belief: every kid deserves a safe, year-round place to fall in love with the game.
The South Bay Takes Notice
Word spread fast through San Jose and Sunnyvale. Weekend pick-up games sold out, and our first recreational class series for toddlers filled within days of opening registration.
Built for Resilience
When the world slowed down, our community didn't. Families from Campbell and Cupertino leaned on Soccer Sphere as a trusted, consistent space for their kids to stay active and connected.
Competitive Program Launches
We introduced tiered competitive memberships and brought in dedicated coaching staff, helping players from across the South Bay sharpen their game and chase real growth.
South Bay's Indoor Soccer Home
Now serving families throughout Santa Clara, San Jose, Sunnyvale, Campbell, Cupertino, and Milpitas, Soccer Sphere has grown into the region's premier indoor turf soccer facility.
Building Players.
Building People.
At Soccer Sphere, we believe the game is a vehicle for something bigger. Every session on our indoor turf is designed to develop confident, resilient young athletes — players who carry the lessons learned on the field into the classroom, the locker room, and life beyond South Bay.
From our first touch with toddlers to our competitive membership tiers, our coaches measure success in character as much as in goals scored. We're proud to serve families across Santa Clara, San Jose, Sunnyvale, Campbell, Cupertino, and Milpitas, giving the South Bay a home for the sport that builds both.
The CONFIDENCE Code
Across Santa Clara, San Jose, Sunnyvale, Campbell, Cupertino, and Milpitas, Soccer Sphere's coaching staff builds players from the inside out. The CONFIDENCE Code is our approach to development — a belief that technical skill only sticks when a player feels secure enough on the indoor turf to try, fail, and try again.
Instead of drilling fear of mistakes out of young athletes, our coaches design every class, pick-up game, and competitive session around building self-belief first — knowing that technique, speed, and game IQ follow once a player trusts themselves.
Confidence
Every drill and scrimmage is built to help players trust their first touch and their decisions on the ball.
Ownership
Players are coached to take responsibility for their effort, their teammates, and their growth on and off the turf.
Resilience
Mistakes are treated as part of the process — our coaches build players who reset quickly and keep competing.
Excellence
From Toddlers to Gold-tier competitors, every session is held to the same standard of focus and effort.
